AMD Radeon RX 7000 clocks up to 4.0 GHz

Tomorrow, NVIDIA will officially present its new generation video cards, which should get quite impressive performance and at the same time please with relatively adequate prices. But here it is worth understanding that the market actually has video cards not only from this manufacturer. For example, a full-fledged announcement of the AMD Radeon RX 7000 video card line should take place very soon, which will receive the latest architecture with quite impressive performance. And, according to insiders, the company plans to implement in these video cards a surprisingly high clock speed of the GPU, which in theory is also good news. The fact is that the AMD Radeon RX 7000 must raise the frequency of the graphics core to 4.0 GHz.

This is actually a fairly high mark, since even 2.0 GHz is quite problematic to get, especially when it comes to video cards of past generations. Even modern models from NVIDIA do not provide the ability to work at such high frequencies, which is likely to provide additional bonuses in the foreseeable future. For example, such a video card can work much more efficiently in various calculations, and in games the frame rate should be higher. Another thing is that such a video card will consume much more energy, since such frequencies do not arise from scratch. It would be interesting to see this solution in action, but it probably won’t happen until next year.
