AMD Ryzen 7000 will be presented today

The full introduction of the AMD Ryzen 7000 “Zen 4” desktop processors and AM5 motherboard platform is less than 24 hours away. According to AMD itself, the presentation will take place on August 29 at 13:00 Moscow time. According to a press release published by AMD, the event will focus on next-generation PC products, mainly AMD Ryzen 7000 “Zen 4” processors, the all-new AM5 platform, and DDR5 EXPO DRAM memory, which will play an equally important role. Now there has been some confusion around this event, so we’ll be clear. The event will focus solely on the specifications, pricing and sales start date of upcoming products. Products will be announced, but they won’t go on sale until September.

According to our previous report, AMD Ryzen 7000 “Zen 4” desktop processors were scheduled to launch on September 15th, as also indicated by motherboard manufacturers, however the dates may have changed and sales have been pushed back to September 27th. That is, from the moment of the official announcement, it will take about a month before the processors appear in the official sale. But since AMD confirms one of its previous dates, which we first reported earlier this month, it is possible that the company is sticking to its original launch plan, which would be useful to consumers. Accordingly, members of the red team can start selling their chips on the same day that Intel introduces its 13th generation Raptor Lake desktop processors.
