Apple Watch Series 8 will not receive a new design and sensors

Apple will launch the new iPhone 14 series of smartphones next month along with the new Apple Watch Series 8. We previously heard that the wearable would be undergoing a major design change with flat edges. However, just a few weeks before the launch, it was revealed that the standard Apple Watch Series 8 will have the same design as the current model. The news was shared by user ShrimpApplePro, suggesting that the standard Apple Watch Series 8 model will not have a redesign, but instead the company will use the same design as the current model. Other than that, there will be no Titanium option for the standard wearable variant.

This is contrary to a previous report by Mark Gurman, who said the rugged Apple Watch would come with a titanium case. The “extreme” model is expected to feature a large display with a focus on durability. Beyond that, the insider said their sources are unfamiliar with the news about the updated health sensors in the Apple Watch Series 8. The wearable is expected to go into mass production this month. In terms of color, the source suggests that the Apple Watch Series 8 will come in the new Midnight, Starlight, Silver, and (PRODUCT)RED colors for aluminum variants. In addition, the Silver and Graphite colors will be reserved for the stainless steel model. There is no information about the cost yet, but it will probably appear soon too.
