Corsair aims to reach 10,000 MB/s read speeds with its fastest SSD, the MP700. The novelty is based on the PCIe 5.0 x4 and NVMe 2.0 standard and will use the M.2 connector.
At the moment, the company’s fastest drive is the MP600 Pro XT, but that will change with the release of the MP700. The company showed a graph comparing the speeds of drives. It is also worth noting that the MP700 will work perfectly with the upcoming AMD AM5 platform. According to the schedule, the MP700 will deliver 10Gb/s read speed and 9.5Gb/s write speed.
Memory options and estimated cost of the drive are not disclosed.
