Cyberpunk 2077 Development Director Quits CD Projekt RED After 15 Years


Endzey Mruzproduction director Cyberpunk 2077announced his retirement from CD Projekt RED.

Mruz was one of the veterans of the Polish studio, having worked in it for over 15 years. He joined the team in 2007 as a QA Associate and over the following years rose to Lead Producer on the PC version of The Witcher 2 and then Cyberpunk 2077. For the last year and a half, Mruz has served as Director of Development.

The developer did not name the reasons why he decided to part with the team, only noting that he was happy to work in the studio, but now it is time for him to try his hand at something new.

“Thank you CD Projekt RED for an impressive 15 years! See you guys again. I’ll miss you ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s time for something new!”


Tonight, CD Projekt RED will host a special presentation on Cyberpunk 2077, where he will talk about what lies ahead for the role-playing game. During the stream, an update with content based on anime will be presented Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
