Deathloop tested on Xbox Series S and showed the gameplay of the game in different modes on Xbox Series X

Shooter Deathloop from Arkane Lyon came out today Xbox Series X|S. The first walkthrough videos have already begun to appear on the network, allowing you to evaluate how the game looks and works on consoles Microsoft.

Channel Gamersyde posted gameplay from the beginning of the game, recorded on Xbox Series X in three different operating modes.

Up to 11 minutes shows quality mode (4K and 60 FPS with image priority), from 11 to 20 minutes – performance mode (4K and 60 FPS with frame rate priority), and from 20 minutes to the end – ray tracing mode (4K and 30 FPS).

A fourth mode is also available in the game, aimed at 120 frames per second. In this case, the resolution is reduced to 1080p and v-sync is disabled, so we recommend using a display that supports VRR to avoid screen tearing.

Also released is a gameplay video from Deathloop’s intro on Xbox Series S with performance testing.

On the younger Microsoft console, there are only two modes to choose from: 1080p and 60 FPS with a priority on frame rate or image quality. According to the test, in the first case, the game consistently holds 60 FPS with a rare drop of 1-2 frames, while in the second case, drawdowns of 5-10 frames sometimes occur, but failures do not occur often and in general there are no noticeable performance problems either. In both modes, the resolution has dynamic scaling.

Finally, IGN posted a video of the extended ending of the game, which was added to all platforms in today’s Goldenloop update, along with other content..

Deathloop also became available in subscriptions today PC Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass, PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium (Deluxe).
