Decapitation and dismemberment: ESRB awarded the adult rating of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0

On the website of the American ESRB appeared page Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. The battle royale is rumored to be released on November 16th, and the NGO’s ratings give it some confidence.

The ESRB has given Activision Blizzard’s upcoming game an “M” age rating. The release will take place on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. In a first-person shooter set in the Call of Duty universe, players will engage in multiplayer battles, including DMZ mode, using assault rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles and explosives.

It is important to note that the first information about the DMZ appeared at the beginning of the summer, when insiders announced that a mode in the spirit of Escape from Tarkov was being prepared for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. They claimed that the DMZ would be part of the core game, however the ESRB does not mention mode on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II page. Probably the DMZ will be released along with the shareware shooter.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 also features icons and banners featuring marijuana and joint smoking characters. The game contains swear words and decapitation with dismemberment after successful shots.
