At the company’s Japanese headquarters Nintendo a fire broke out, but the fire was extinguished in a timely manner, and no one was injured in it. Information about this was published by the Japanese media with reference to the rescue service.

The office where the fire broke out is located in the city of Kyoto. According to official data, the fire was able to cover a table and several chairs in one of the rooms on the third floor of the building, firefighters immediately went to the place, but the fire was quickly extinguished by the employees themselves.

Specialists are now working on site. It is clarified that the cause of the fire could be a certain electronic device, a phone or tablet that was on charge. High temperatures may also have contributed to the incident. Japan is experiencing a record heatwave.
