Google Pixel 7 Pro will get a too weak processor

We have long been accustomed to the fact that modern smartphones simply cannot remain secret until their release – usually the characteristics from benchmarks are leaked to the network first, then some information about the cameras, then the design and stuff like that. And now the Pixel 7 Pro smartphone, which has been mentioned more than once, because the company practically announced it at its last presentation, got into the lists of benchmarks. Thanks to this, users can find out what points the smartphone is gaining and what kind of hardware it uses in the end. For example, it turned out that the Pixel 7 Pro does indeed have a Tensor 2 processor, as the insiders expected, while the performance is quite low. Apparently, the company focused on various computing in the field of photography, and not on performance in games.

The fact is that Google’s new generation processor turned out to be even weaker than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, which, it is worth recalling, is last year’s flagship. Yes, it cannot be said that the Snapdragon 888 had performance problems and, in general, this is a pretty good solution, albeit with overheating problems. But you need to understand that the Snapdragon 888 is already lagging behind Qualcomm’s current flagship processor, to say nothing of the upcoming releases, which will take place at about the same moment as the release of the new Google smartphone. And then the difference in performance will be even more noticeable, especially when it comes to flagship smartphones of the same level.
