“Ideal for beginners, and the rest should be given a discount”: An insider spoke about the remake of The Last of Us and showed new footage

Famous insider Tom Henderson began to independently study the remake The Last of Us for PlayStation 5 and already made the first conclusions. He noted that the new version looks much better than the remaster for PlayStation 4 and is ideal for beginners who are unfamiliar with the plot of The Last of Us. For the rest of the players, Part I will offer nothing but an updated picture, and Henderson believes that asking fans full price for such a publication is unfair.

“There should be some kind of discount for those who bought the original or the remaster. My opinion. I highly recommend it to the rest,” Henderson said.

Now the insider is doing his own frame-by-frame comparison of the remaster and the remake. On his social networks, he showed several screenshots from The Last of Us Part I (Beware, there is a spoiler scene below after the trailer!).

Meanwhile, the developers Naughty Dog released a new video about the upcoming remake of the first The Last of Us for PlayStation 5. In a short video, the vice president of the studio and co-author of the project Neil Druckmann talks about acting on a motion capture set.

During the game director’s speech, we can see fragments of the updated dialogue cutscene between Ellie and Joel, who were played Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker.

The Last of Us Part I will be released September 2 on PlayStation 5, with a later PC release.
