After the release of the recent update 1.07 for ELDEN RING new files have been added to the game indicating that FromSoftware may be planning a PvP Arena DLC”Coliseum“.
Information about this was discovered by dataminer Sekirodubi on Twitter. Earlier, he found files in the game that indicate preparations for adding ray tracing, support for which Bandai Namco promised in one of the patches last fall.
The latest find also mentions new hairstyles, six new weapons, new bosses and NPCs/bosses called “Someone yet invisible”.
ELDEN RING multiplayer now allows you to invade or challenge alien worlds for cooperative or competitive play. The mention of a PvP arena could mean that a new type of online play will potentially appear in the action role-playing game soon..
At the same time, FromSoftware has not yet officially announced plans for DLC for ELDEN RING. Perhaps the announcement of the add-on is being prepared for The Game Awards 2022, which is scheduled for December 8th.
