According to a famous insider NateDrake (aka Nate the Hate), the next full presentation Nintendo Direct scheduled for September and this is where Nintendo should reveal the updated version Metroid Prime for Switch.
The remaster of the cult adventure game is expected to go on sale in November 2022 — just in time for the 20th anniversary of the original version with the GameCube.
In correspondence with users, NateDrake also noted that updated versions should appear on Switch in the future. Metroid Prime 2 and Metroid Prime 3but they are likely to be less ambitious than the remaster of the first game that started the sub-series.
Metroid Prime debuted in November 2002 and was well received by reviewers. — her average rating on Metacritic was 97 points out of 100 possible. Journalists praised the high-quality transfer of the concept of metroidvania to 3D and adaptation to a first-person view. Subsequently, the game received two sequels, and the third one is being created for the Nintendo Switch and has no release date yet.
