Intel is going to move 500 employees of the Nizhny Novgorod office to Germany

About 500 developers from Intel’s Nizhny Novgorod office are planning to relocate to Germany. This was announced by the Governor Gleb Nikitin. The task of management is to keep specialists in Russia.

Nikitin noted thatBe patient» is actively recruiting, also «Rosatom» is looking for specialists. A personnel center for IT has been created in the country on the basis of KUPNO, where they are trying to combine the needs of domestic companies with the capabilities of redundant workers.

In addition, a branch of the Russian Federal Nuclear Center (RFNC-VNIEF) was opened in Nizhny Novgorod. According to Nikitin, this is one of the positive examples of the reorientation of IT specialists to the domestic market.

Recall that Intel suspended work in Russia in early April. Three R&D (research and development) centers of the company are now open in the country. They are located in Moscow, Novosibirsk and Nizhny Novgorod. It is not yet clear whether it is planned to transfer employees to Germany from other offices.
