iPhone 14 Pro Max will sell best despite the price

Apple may produce more units of the iPhone 14 Pro Max compared to the remaining three versions coming later this year, according to the latest panel shipment estimates. Data provided by DSCC CEO Ross Young shows that between June and September, the iPhone 14 Pro Max accounted for the largest share of panel production, accounting for 28 percent of all shipments. The iPhone 14 Pro, which will likely be sold as a smaller member of Apple’s Pro-iPhone series, is said to account for 26 percent of all panel shipments and is tied with the regular 6.1-inch iPhone 14. Surprisingly, despite the inherent the benefits that the larger iPhone 14 Pro Max will eventually bring, its panel supply estimate is slightly higher than that of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14.

Also surprisingly, MacRumors reports that the iPhone 14 Max, which will also feature a 6.7-inch display like the iPhone 14 Pro Max, has the lowest score of 19 percent, but Yang says things will improve over time. Yang’s statement implies that existing stocks of the iPhone 14 Max could quickly disappear, prompting Apple to tell suppliers to increase shipments of that particular model. The tech giant has reportedly asked its supply chain to mass-produce 95 million iPhone 14 units over the remainder of the year. Foxconn was previously reported to be increasing bonuses in an attempt to attract workers in order to meet its aggressive iPhone 14 shipment target. Also, given that the iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max have the same display size, the less expensive version will have the same benefits, such as a larger battery and more screen real estate.
