Electronic Arts has released a release trailer for a cooperative action adventure It Takes Two for Switch. One of last year’s biggest hits is now available on Nintendo’s hybrid console.
The first videos with performance testing of the Switch version of the game have also appeared on the network.
Specialists from the studio were responsible for the transfer of the project Turn Me Up Gameswho previously made Switch versions of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, Borderlands: Legendary Collection, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and other ports.
Youssef Fares previously believed that It Takes Two could not be released on the Switch, but the developers did it, albeit at the cost of simplifications.
To do this, I had to cut lighting, effects and detail, as well as reduce the resolution and halve the frame rate, but the game works without brakes and most of the time keeps stable 30 FPS.
Now the original creators It Takes Two is working on the next game, which could be announced as early as The Game Awards 2022.
