Following the announcement trailer Ghostrunner II Publisher 505 Games and studio One More Level shared the first details of the game and screenshots.

The sequel will take place a year after the first part. The mistress of the keys is dead, but the protagonist is waiting for a new battle – this time with a cruel cyberninja cult that arose in the backyard of the Dharma tower.

According to the creators, the project will offer everything that the original Ghostrunner loved for, including boss fights, as well as many innovations, such as in-depth exploration of the world outside the tower, improved combat system, complex non-linear levels with motorcycle movement and new modes .

In addition, there will be new skills that allow you to act more creatively and complete the most difficult tasks, but the enemies will also become more difficult and will behave differently depending on the abilities used.

“New features make replaying Ghostrunner II even more fun. Players can now progress through the campaign, climb the leaderboard, experiment with playstyles and try out new game modes. Fans of the original Ghostrunner and anyone looking for action-packed action will love the game.”

  • More varied level design with non-linear playthrough options.
  • Increased interactivity in boss fights, allowing you to independently decide how to deal with the enemy.
  • Redesigned character development system with many new opportunities for experimentation.
  • New dialogue system and many new types of enemies, including reworked enemies from the first Ghostrunner.
  • Richer combat by adding interactive environmental elements like exploding barrels, destructible walls, and neutral NPCs to help out.

The release of Ghostrunner II will take place before the end of 2023 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. The game will receive support for the Russian language in the interface and subtitles.
