Remake of the cult RPG The Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic continues to be under development. Rumors of its cancellation are not true, the company confirmed Embracer Group. The list of platforms is also unchanged. PlayStation 5 and PC.

Recall that the official announcement of the new version of The Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic took place back in 2021, and then the Aspyr Media team was responsible for the development. Later, production was transferred to Saber Interactive, and for two years, players were not shown a single frame of gameplay.

According to rumors, the Aspyr Media version seemed to Sony not cinematic enough, as a result of which the studio was removed from development.


Formerly journalist Jeff Grubb suggestedthat the KOTOR remake might not make it to release, as he hasn’t heard anything about the project for a long time.
