Company NVIDIA shared the first gameplay demo of the PC version of the platform action adventure game Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
The video shows the game running on an unnamed graphics card. RTX 40 Series with included DLSS 3 and without it. In the second case, the performance is 70-80 frames per second, but if you use a proprietary upscaler, then the frame rate more than doubles.
NVIDIA states that when using DLSS 3 graphics accelerators RTX 4080 and 4090 will be able to provide gameplay with speed 140+ FPS in resolution 4K and at maximum settings with all the effects of ray tracing
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will also support technology on PC NVIDIA Reflex and NVIDIA RTX IO. The former reduces input lag, while the latter offloads asset decompression to the GPU for even smoother gameplay with seamless portal jumps.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is now available for preload on Steam. Release will be tomorrow. The game will also appear in Epic Games Store.
