Partners AMD and NVIDIA suffer from falling prices for graphics cards


According to MyDriversthe decrease in the cost of video cards led to complaints from partners NVIDIA and AMD. According to them, it has become more difficult to sell goods. ASUS, Gigabyte and MSI can hardly convince retailers and distributors who refuse to take models from the line Radeon RX 6000. The latter is less in demand than a competitor from NVIDIA.

Lately cost Radeon RX 6700 XT in the US fell by $100, the new Radeon RX 6650 XT sells for $50 less, and the price RX 6600 dropped $80. Video cards from NVIDIA have fallen in price no less. Price for the one released in May GeForce RTX 3080 Ti dropped 30% from the suggested retail price ($800 vs $1200).

At the beginning of the week there was a rumor that NVIDIA will reduce prices on GeForce RTX 30 by the end of August. The reason for the price adjustment is called the current market situation.
