Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will receive a new processor

Since the discontinuation of the Galaxy Note series, Samsung has effectively reused the line design for the “Ultra” variants of the Galaxy S family. In 2023, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will remain “almost” unchanged from its predecessor, the Galaxy S22 Ultra, according to one source. In terms of specifications, Ice Universe claims that the dimensions of the Galaxy S23 Ultra may increase by 0.1-0.2 mm compared to the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The journalist of the publication also states that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery and a thickness of 8.9 mm, which is a common figure for the Galaxy S22 Ultra. That being said, Samsung has been selling outdated designs to users for several years now and is using a different model to promote its top-tier flagships.

Other internal changes include Qualcomm’s larger 3D Sonic Max fingerprint sensor, a 200MP main camera, and an update to the selfie camera. Unfortunately, according to previous rumors, we shouldn’t expect a telephoto upgrade for any Galaxy S23 model. Samsung will likely launch all three members of the flagship line next February, so we’ll have a lot of updates for our readers before the launch event starts – stay tuned. For example, it is very interesting how the manufacturer will deal with the hardware of the new smartphone, because the company should have its own top-end processor next year.
