Sony announces commitment to the PlayStation console audience – the creation of expensive single games will continue


Sony set out to expand the brand PlayStationstarted releasing games on PC, plans to take up mobile gaming and actively invests in service entertainmenthowever, this does not mean that she has forgotten about the needs of her main console audience.

Head PlayStation Studios Herman Hulst declared full commitment to the PlayStation community on consoles and confirmed that new experiments will not force Sony to abandon the creation of high-quality story single games. The company understands that they love it for this.

“Our development efforts beyond consoles in no way diminish Sony’s commitment to the PlayStation community,” Hulst said.

In September, Sony will release The Last of Us Part I, the premiere of God of War Ragnarok is scheduled for November, and sales of the PlayStation VR2 virtual reality helmet should start in early 2023. The launch lineup of the latter will include the game Horizon Call of the Mountain.
