Support for Cyberpunk 2077 with new content on PS4 and Xbox One is being phased out – update 1.6 is the last


Developers from the studio CD Projekt RED announced the release of update 1.6 for Cyberpunk 2077. This is the last major patch the game will receive on consoles. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One โ€” further on these systems only minor fixes and technical improvements will be released.

However, the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC versions will continue to evolve. In 2023, Cyberpunk 2077 fans on these platforms will receive a large-scale plot expansion Phantom Liberty.

Among the key changes in patch 1.6 for Cyberpunk 2077 are::


  • Content based on the upcoming anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners has arrived (equipment, secrets, photo mode features);
  • Cross-platform saves;
  • Equipment transmogrification system;
  • The ability to customize the appearance of the character of the Reapers;
  • New orders from fixers;
  • New guns, costumes, wardrobe features, hairstyles;
  • Ability to use Nibbles’ cat in photo mode;
  • Fixes gameplay errors and bugs in tasks;
  • The game “Move, Roach!” appeared in arcade machines in the open spaces of Night City;
  • The Xbox Series S has a performance mode that allows you to play at 60 FPS;
  • There is an official tool for modifications REDmod on PC.
