The creators of Days Gone showed the first gameplay of the post-apocalyptic role-playing game Ashfall at Tokyo Game Show 2022

At the end of June the studio Lithosformed by those who left Bend Studio veteran developers, announced post-apocalyptic multiplayer online action game with role-playing elements called Ashfall. The game previously had a working title Project: 56 and scheduled for release in 2023 on PC and mobile devices.

At Tokyo Game Show 2022, the team brought full gameplay, showing what a third-person shooter adventure looks like in a world scorched by a nuclear war started by artificial intelligence.

Barren deserts, abandoned cities, old world battlefields, bustling survivor settlements – this is what players will see – a huge and diverse wasteland world. Ashfall combines unique oriental culture and post-apocalyptic elements. Each area of the game showcases a different theme and offers a distinct cultural atmosphere to explore.

The remnants of humanity fight each other for supplies, until rumors suddenly surface of some kind of “Core of the Universe” that can heal the destroyed earth. Players have to leave the shelter and go in search of the sake of saving humanity.

Ashfall offers a lot of possibilities, including character customization. The combat system combines classic cover shooting and teamwork. The game supports single and multiplayer modes, enhancing the experience of finicky users.

Music for Ashfall is being written Inon Tsur (Fallout 3, Dragon Age: Origins, Syberia II) и Hans Zimmer (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Crysis 2).
