The developers of God of War: Ragnarök have added more difficulty levels to the new game

Upcoming Action Adventure God of War: Ragnarok for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 will offer a choice of five difficulty levels.

Information about this was shared by the game director of the project Eric Williams in the Q&A session held on the official Discord channel Santa Monica Studio.

Responding to users he also confirmed that the developers have implemented in God of War: Ragnarok the ability to change the difficulty level at any time in the game. If any of them seem too easy or, on the contrary, too hardcore, then the settings can be changed right along the way.

Difficulty modes in the game are:

  • Give Me Balance – provides a balanced experience similar to God of War (2018);
  • Give Me Story – similar to the same mode from the last game;
  • Give Me Grace – something between Story and Balance;
  • Give Me No Mercy – the same as Give Me a Challenge from the last part;
  • Give Me God of War – the most hardcore level.

The release of God of War: Ragnarok will take place November 9. Reviews and ratings will appear this Thursday.
