Memorable and one of the central characters of the beloved universe, the story unfolding here touches on a period that was skipped in the film franchise. The game is available on previous and current generation consoles, as well as PC. We passed it on the PlayStation 5, having studied the pre-release build, which will be discussed here.

You should not expect action or a meat grinder here, Gollum’s physique and character does not imply direct clashes with orcs and elves. One can find fault with the fact that, due to level design, there is no clear understanding of the general path for movement.

Spoiled by modern graphics and sijiay, they will find many reasons to find fault here. There is a complete feeling that the game in small elements has remained somewhere at the level of PlayStation 3 projects of the time. On the one hand, an interesting period of Gollum’s life, which was poorly revealed in the book and in the film, is touched upon here, there is a variety in locations and activities, a verified sound atmosphere, but on the other hand, the technical implementation of the gameplay is very lame and the graphics are far from “nextgen”. If the developers with patches promptly correct all the roughness and bring the game mechanics to mind, then the game deserves attention.
