Pablo Kunz, who voiced Albert Wesker in the original Resident Evil 1996, surprised by the great popularity of his character. The actor fondly recalls the time he worked on Resident Evilwhen he lived in Japan. Today, he is interested in interacting with the fan community, which allowed him to understand how big an impact the antagonist he voiced had.
“To be honest, talking to fans has changed my life,” said Pablo Kunz in an interview with PC Gamer. “I was pleased to meet a large number of wonderful people, kind and witty … At first I was surprised by the incredible attachment of people to the game, but now I understand it.”
Today, Pablo Kunz is getting to know the iconic franchise with his son by watching themed videos on YouTube. He also re-voiced scenes with Albert Wesker in subsequent parts of the series, where the iconic villain was officially voiced by other actors, for example, in Resident Evil Code: Veronica.
In addition, Pablo Kunz has started a Patreon page to support his YouTube channel, and also records video messages to order.
