Valve presented 50 page commemorative booklet Steam Deck launches in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The book is distributed free of charge and is available in English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.

In the booklet, the company talked about the creation of a portable PC and noted that Steam Deck is the first device in this category. Valve is going to continue to work in this direction in the future, improving and improving the technical component and software, bringing new versions of Steam Deck to the market.

The company notes that it sees the line as systems of several generations.. Valve promises to support Steam Deck and SteamOS for the foreseeable future and is asking the Steam community to share their ideas to create a more open and functional platform than the first Steam Deck.

Earlier, Valve CEO Gabe Newell said in a conversation with an IGN representative that the high demand for a portable PC prompted the team to review the future of the Steam Deck.
