“We did an awesome show”: Lance Reddick commented on the closure of the Resident Evil series from Netflix


Lance Reddickwho played Albert Wesker in the TV series based on Resident Evil from Netflixreacted to the news about the sudden closure of the project.

The actor recorded a video message on Twitter, in which he thanked the fans, noting that, despite all the hatred, the series really had a lot of fans.

“As you well know by now, Resident Evil on Netflix has been cancelled, and despite the haters and trolls, I want to give a special thank you to all the fans who watched the series, who got what we did, and who really liked it, because there’s a hell of a lot of you.”

Reddick also expressed his gratitude to the showrunners, fellow cast members, producers and executives of Netflix. According to him, they all gave it their all and had a great time while working on the series, putting on a “fabulous show”.


Resident Evil series from Netflix was closed just over a month after the start of the first season. The reason was the low popularity and weak ratings of the show.
