Fighting Mortal Kombat 1 will contain a particularly brutal mini-game in which the player will need to destroy the decapitated head of the enemy in order to gain progress.
This became known from the age rating set for the game in Singapore. Mortal Kombat 1, as expected, received a classification for persons 18 years and older from the local regulator.
The high age rating is due to the presence of strong and detailed violence in the game. In the course of battles, characters in MK1 can be driven into the ground, dismembered or decapitated, and fights are often accompanied by scenes with X-ray demonstrations of broken bones and torn internal organs. Particularly cruel finishing moves are highlighted in the so-called fatalities performed at the end of the match over a defeated enemy. Also in the game, although not often, there is a rough vocabulary.
Mortal Kombat 1 will release on September 14th.
